"I'm sure surrounded by all of us it will," she said encouragingly. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. Quodpot is a big deal around here," she said, wondering how many more quodpot players she was going to be friends with. There was Enzo of course, and then Abel and the rest of Thunderbird's players. When she was younger she used to go to practices and games to watch them play.
"We really have too many people to coordinate any serious dance moves," she said with a smile. "Sometimes when we do our solos we get a little more freedom, but it's usually not a big deal."

"You might think so, but you should see the size of some of the idol groups in Japan," Kagami said, shrugging. With how many students there were at Ilvermorny, though, she wouldn't be surprised to learn the choir had dozens of members. But it wasn't like choreography had to be a big dance number. Sometimes it was just a series of arm motions. Shelby didn't seem interested in that sort of thing, however, so she didn't push it.
"Quidditch is a big deal at Mahoutokoro," she said, grinning confidently. "A really big deal. The players are like rock stars at school. Is it like that for quodpot players here?"

"Yeah, Quodpot is America's national pastime, like baseball," she said with a smile. She knew that Japan had some serious interest in baseball so she hoped that Kagami could relate. "I know all of the players on Thunderbird's team of course, but one of my good friends is on Horned Serpent's team, so they are easy to find. I'm sure you'll fit right in on Pukwudgie's team," she said.
Unsure of what else to say she took a look around the room, wondering if she could work the charm on the piano like her mother sometimes did, to get it to play on its own. It wasn't a tough spell but it was annoying with how often it had to be applied. She looked back at Kagami expectantly to see if the other girl was going to leave or stay, either way, made no matter for Shelby. While she got nervous before performances, she no longer got stage fright.

"Baseball. Right," she nodded, understanding very well. Kagami combed a hand through her silver hair, looking around as if trying to find a topic on the walls. It wasn't like she had anywhere else to be or anything else to do, but she kind of got the feeling she'd worn out her welcome. All she had come for was to map the location, and she had done that.
"I will leave you to it, then," she said, smiling crookedly and heading for the door. "Thanks for showing me the choir room. See you."

" Sure," she said, with a small wave as the girl moved toward the door. "Anytime. Good luck with your map," she said. "I'd love to see the outcome of your poll too." Especially if she put demographic information on it. Shelby was most interested to see just how many kids at the school identified as gay or lesbian. It couldn't be just her, could it? She was betting on not, as she knew at the very least Eris liked girls the same way she liked boys, given the number of people she had steamrolled, but who was Shelby to judge?
"See you around," she said before turning back toward the piano and pulling her wand out of her jeans. She'd try the charm today, at least for warm-ups.
