Task #2

As he had done for his first task, Dean dressed in all black, including his socks and underwear. He wore his lucky black hoodie and rolled up the mask to look like a regular knit cap, in case he passed anyone on his way to the shack. The old and tattered cloak was under his arm and he didn't put it on until he was sure no one was looking. He then unrolled the masked and pulled it down over his face. He pulled up the hood of his sweatshirt and then the hood of the cloak, doing his best to hide his shock of bright blonde hair.
He crept around to the shadowy part of the shack, looking for his intermediary, wondering if it would be Zelos again, or if they would assign another to him. It made him wonder how many Masked Lords there were if they had enough to switch things up on people. He kept his back against the shed and snuck a peak around the side, finding it deserted. Where were they?

Task #2

Minerva moved out from the wooded area having been taking a stroll wiating for the initiate to actually arrive. She been here for the last 30 minutes wanting to make sure that it was at least clear to begin with. If this one did not make it throught everything would look down on her. How was it going to seem if this new person failed before even got caught.
“Hello there canidite. My name is Minerva, the intermediary, the one wanting to make sure that you pass because of your own merite.” She worked on pulling a chalice from behind her back showing it to him in all of its glory. Minerva worked on taking out wand and lighting the Chalice on fire.
“Okay you need to take this chalice to the Snaketree. Once there have to get it to the top so that till the flames turn red.” Minerva worked on handing the chalice to the one in front of her. “Then bring it back to me. However make sure that you don’t get caught. If do might as well give up. Plus please please do not catch anything on fire. Would rather have easy job tonight.”

Task #2

He looked down at the chalice now in his hands, black flames shooting out from it. To get it to the top of the snaketree, he'd have to climb it or risk being seen. And last time he checked, his hoodie was flammable, so there would be no carrying it in his pouch this time. Could he climb with one hand? He didn't know but he was going to try.
He quickly snuck his way toward the snaketree, having to duck behind bushes as a couple of pukwudgies on patrol passed by. It gave him time to think of a plan. They wouldn't assign something outside of their abilities, right? When he looked up at the snaketree, he thought about his problem. If he could hover the chalice up, branch by branch, he'd have an easier time climbing up and out of sight. So he took out his wand and watched as the chalice hovered up into the tree.
He put his wand in his mouth and reached up for the nearest branch and hauled himself up. It was slow going and he would be lucky if he met the midnight deadline just from the size of the snaketree, but he was determined to make it. He kept hovering the chalice higher and climbed up behind it until he reached the top. It took a moment but the black flames turned blood red and Dean grinned, now how to get down. He could climb down and then summon the chalice very carefully. He knew that the snaketree was indestructible so he wasn't worried about setting it on fire.
Very slowly and careful of his movements, he climbed down the tree until he popped down off the last branch. He could barely see his Chalice at the top. He took a breath and whispered, "Accio chalice," pointing his wand at the flaming cup. It came hurtling toward him and he had to duck out of the way so it didn't hit him. He picked it up before the flames could catch the ground on fire. He could feel the heat coming from the flames and now retraced his steps carefully. He was a whole lot more visible now than he had been, now that his chalice glowed with red flame.
At one point he had to duck into some barbed bushes to avoid more pukwudgies on patrol, careful to hold the chalice low and out of sight but not close to the bush itself. After prying himself out and thinking the coast was clear he made a run back toward the quodpot pitch and the shake that lay beyond it. He was out of breath but handed the chalice over, hoping he hadn't lost due to time restraints.

Task #2

Minerva was working on looking at the stars trying to gauge the time from them. She was grateful that they had at least gave her the job at the Quodpot pitch. The sky was wonderful at this time of night. She made sure that stayed in the shadows herself. This would not work if the same pukwudgies on patrol found her.
Minerva took the chalice moving to walk around him looking down the opening from the way he came. She had known by now if there was going to be fire from something it would be seen. The flame was also blood red like told. He was little slow but actually did it. “Congratulations on actually working on getting it back to me. There are many that try this task and fail. The time was a little slow but it should not be too bad.” Minerva was not going to say yes or no on him actually making it through till 100% sure.”
