Enzo clapped politely then looked to Shelby. "Yeah, it's alright," he said, but it wasn't like he could say it sucked if it had. Not in front of them. It hadn't sucked, though, so he wasn't lying. Even though he hadn't won, not even close. That did nibble at the back of his mind, a reminder he wasn't as good as anyone else at anything. Not even silly children's games. For her, he put on a smile. "Life, eh? Any idea what next week will be?" he asked, trying to pretend he didn't even notice the display of affection from the couple next to them.

When Enzo asked about next week, Lucco headed for his bag and pulled out the little collection of games he and Becca had written onto little scraps of paper and then thrown into a box. He shook the box once, then held it out to Gabriel. "Since you got second, you pick next week," Lucco offered. His fellow sophomore reached it and pulled a slip out, handing it back.
"Ah ha! We are certainly hitting all the classics," Lucco chuckled. "No consistency whatsoever. Next week is Texas Hold'em! I'll try to find some chips or something we can use for betting. Or you can pick something of your own choosing."
The consensus seemed to be in the negative for continuing the game so they packed everything up and parted ways, Luc heading straight for Wampus with the knowledge that he had plenty of time to perhaps finish his Charms homework before bed.
